PAX7
PAX7，全稱為配對盒蛋白7，常見別名包括肌源性轉錄調節因子PAX7。它是骨骼肌發育與再生的核心參與者，主要存在于肌肉衛星細胞中，能維持這些細胞的未分化特性，在肌肉受損時推動細胞增殖、分化，幫助受損組織修復。PAX7表達異常，可能引發肌肉再生障礙，比如部分肌營養不良癥，還與橫紋肌肉瘤密切相關——這類腫瘤細胞中PAX7常過度表達，助力腫瘤細胞生長和存活。目前針對PAX7的藥物研發正處于早期階段，研究人員嘗試開發小分子抑制劑或抗體，希望通過調控其活性來治療相關疾病，但尚未有藥物進入臨床應用階段。
